Mobile phone pouches
At Barclay our focus is on the students and providing the best possible learning environment for them to thrive. The benefits of a phone free environment are well documented. Recent research has found that it takes 20 minutes for a student to regain focus after a nearby phone distraction. We are unapologetically tough when it comes to phones as we want the best possible outcomes for our students.
Phones or wearable smart devices (watches, airpods etc) are not to be used during school.
Every student is assigned a personal 'Yondr' pouch. It is each student’s responsibility to bring their Pouch with them to school every day and keep it in good working condition.
